Xbox
Controls Xbox consoles for navigation, transport, gamepad input, and app launching. It speaks the SmartGlass protocol in pure .NET and can wake the console from off.
Connection
Section titled “Connection”Network, using the SmartGlass protocol over UDP port 5050, implemented in pure .NET. The connection is anonymous — a Microsoft account is not commonly required. Power-on uses a native magic packet.
- Live ID — used to wake the console.
- Address — the console’s network address, used for navigation and media control.
