XMLTV Guide
XMLTV Guide provides electronic programme guide (EPG) data only. It is a guide source, not something you can watch — it supplies listings that other parts of the system can use.
Connection
Section titled “Connection”Downloads an XMLTV guide file (.xml or .xml.gz, with gzip handled automatically) over HTTP and parses it. The guide is cached and refreshed on a schedule; if a download fails, it keeps serving the last-good copy. It provides EPG data only — there is nothing to tune or play, and it has no commands.
- url — the URL of the XMLTV guide file.
- refreshHours — how often to re-download the guide (default 6).
What it can do
Section titled “What it can do”This driver has no commands. It carries the media.library trait and supports EPG. Its job is to fetch, cache, and serve XMLTV guide data as an EPG.
